Step out of the 1900’s and into the 2000’s and update the way you winterize your RV with this Shop-Vac Low Point Drain Vacuum Attachment
Download the file and 3D print it out using the proper shrink/scaling factor for your filament. This accessory fits a 1 1/8″ shop-vac hose and lets you quickly drain your RV water system through the low point drain fittings.
Instead of using an air compressor that has high pressure, but very low flow (volume of air) Use your Wet/Dry Shop-Vac
No expensive air compressor that needs a regulator (you don’t want to over pressure your water system and create a leak) air filter (you don’t want air compressor oil in your water system) lots of air hoses and adapters to finally connect to the City Water inlet.
Simply
How to Inflate:
1. Attach the hose to the exhaust/blow side of your shop-vac.
2. Slip the accessory onto the 1 1/8″ hose.
3. Remove the stopper from the inflatable.
4. Insert the nozzle past the one-way valve until it bottoms out on the taper.
5. Turn on the vacuum and inflate to the desired level.
• Inflate in stages.
• Allow time for stretching.
• Do not overinflate, especially in hot or sunny conditions.
How to Deflate:
1. Ensure the item is dry.
2. Attach the hose to the vacuum/suction side of the shop-vac.
3. Insert the nozzle past the valve until fully seated.
4. Turn on the vacuum until mostly deflated.
5. Leave about 1 inch of thickness, then turn off the vacuum.
6. Fold or roll the item, turn the vacuum back on briefly, then seal the valve.
7. Finish folding for storage.
Tips to Avoid Overinflation:
• Some creases are normal — don’t chase perfection.
• Inflate in stages and watch for stressed seams or distortion.
• Press down with your hand; sinking halfway is ideal.
• Slightly underinflate on hot days — air expands in the sun.
